How does the serial production of optical assemblies work?
After the prototype of the optical system has successfully passed all functional tests and is working successfully in test mode for the application, pilot series production begins. Minor adjustments are usually made in this phase, but complex tests no longer need to be carried out.
During production of the pilot series, all special tools and necessary devices are tested and configured when necessary. The individual work steps are planned in detail and carefully documented in a production manual. In addition, tests are established that every finished optical device must later go through. The results of these are recorded in an acceptance report. These measures ensure a smooth and cost-optimized production process and the consistently high quality of the delivered devices.

Before production begins, you receive an offer from us for the delivery of the pilot series, which may also include the NRE costs for tooling and calibration stands, and an additional offer for the future serial production of your optical system.
Our production is focused on small and medium-sized quantities, which we produce in our in-house workshop at Technologie Manufaktur. We place projects for larger quantities with our experienced partners. In the serial production of optical assemblies, we attach particular importance to careful quality control, which we carry out on the basis of the measurement protocols agreed in advance.
